Domestic Assistant

Wicked Care Consultancy support care and nursing homes across Devon and Somerset in finding sparkling and reliable cleaners to bring pride and passion into their homes.

We currently have vacancies ranging from North Devon to Sidmouth and across Somerset, all with an immediate start with excellent hourly rates ranging from £10 – £15 per hour, depending on the provider and experience. We can offer temporary and permanent roles.

Training and career opportunities is also offered to all Wicked Care team members, we can support you with a structured career pathway in to either a care career, administration, nursing or management.

The Domestic Assistant Role:

Maintaining excellent hygiene throughout the homes
Tidying duties such as vacuum cleaning, carpet washing, damp & dry dusting, polishing, cleaning paintwork and internal windows
Residents’ bedrooms and en-suites to be clean & tidy (some residents like to help you do this!)
Daily cleaning of all communal areas
Promotion of infection control
Reporting of any maintenance issues
Laundry support
