Senior Care Assistant
Wicked Care Consultancy support care and nursing homes across Devon and Somerset in finding passionate and remarkable individuals with experience in care as a Senior Carer, Team Leader or someone looking to take the next step in their career, by covering temporary and permanent recruitment needs.
We currently have vacancies ranging from North Devon to Sidmouth and across Somerset, all with an immediate start with excellent hourly rates ranging from £12 – £18, depending on the provider and experience.
The Senior Care Role:
- Deliver person-centred care in all aspects of daily living
- Provide care that supports the self-respect of the individual being supported
- Promote independence & meaningful experience of life
- Supporting individuals and care team with personal care such as washing, bathroom breaks, dressing
- Supporting at mealtimes throughout the day
- Supporting duty nurse with medication management
- Developing & evaluating care plans
- Supporting a care team & setting standards of care through leadership by example
- Mentoring & positive role modelling
- Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks
About you:
- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant
- Or a Care Assistant ready to take the next step into a senior position
